Information Provider Service
Developed by researchers and medical providers at Columbia
University, HIV TIPS is an Internet website with a variety
of resources intended to advise you on HIV medication regimens
according to national treatment guidelines. HIV TIPS was created
to help you prescribe complicated, highly active anti-retroviral
therapy (HAART) for your patients. The website also provides
tailored and non-tailored information you can print for patients
with HIV and AIDS.
The key feature of the program is the treatment
assistance we give you based on guidelines from the US-government-funded
AIDS Education and Training Centers (AETC's) -tailored to
your needs. Using brief questionnaires about your patient's
condition, HIV TIPS presents only the information you need
to help you decide on patient-specific treatment, saving you
time and energy.
