The New York/New Jersey AIDS Education and Training Center conducts targeted, multi-disciplinary education and training programs for New York and New Jersey based healthcare providers on HIV treatment and testing.
The NY/NJ AETC is part of a national network of 11 regional centers funded by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) through the Ryan White CARE Program.
Our Mission
To assist healthcare professionals, through education and training, to provide optimum quality services and sensitive care to HIV positive persons and provide access to current research and treatment on HIV/AIDS.
Over the past two decades, we have offered thousands of courses, lectures, interactive workshops, preceptorships, individual and group consultations and organizational technical assistance.
THE NY/NJ AETC PROVIDES TRAINING FOR
- Primary Care Providers
Training and technical assistance on routine HIV screening, testing and fundamentals of HIV management and co-management with specialists. - HIV Specialists
Training and consultations on advanced topics in HIV management and primary care of the HIV patient.
