self-instructional materials, journal clubs and conferences. Program

These interactive, skills-building activities may include discussion
of cases supplied by the trainer, role-play, simulated patient-provider
workshops and train-the-trainer models.
Level III - Clinical Training/Preceptorships/Mini-Residencies/Observation of Clinical Care
These interactive training programs put the participant in touch
with actual clinical care experiences with patients. Activities

Level IV - Clinical Guidance
For patient-specific clinical guidance, specialists throughout the
NY/NJ AETC region are available by telephone, email, or in person.
Clinical consultations and discussion of cases supplied by the participant/trainee
make this program extremely rich in learning and experience. The
NY/NJ AETC is partnering with the HRSA/AETC National HIV/AIDS Clinician’s
Consultation Center which includes the Warmline (800-933-3413),
and PEPline (888-HIV-4911), clinical guidance services that are
staffed 24 hours a day.
Level V - Technical Assistance
As part of our ongoing support services, the NY/NJ AETC offers resources,
guidance and assistance to improve HIV service delivery and performance
at an organizational level. Technical assistance can be tailored
to meet a specific need or request.
